Sales Director (Grocery) in Vietnam
Position Summary
Provide strategic leadership and full ownership of the Grocery channel. Drive growth in our mainstream grocery business within each retailer, outperforming category averages and competitors. Assist in developing business plans and fully own the execution strategies for grocery sub-categories (national, regional, natural, and discount channels), ensuring consistent client satisfaction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Marketing, Logistics, and Sales Support. Oversee the channel’s P&L and deliver results in line with the annual plan.

Qualifications

Fully manage all grocery clients within Vietnam and have a deep understanding of their goals and objectives.

Present targeted strategic plans, develop effective brand promotion strategies, and strengthen brand activation based on client insights.

Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for the grocery channel.

Responsible for the strategic execution of all brands at retail nationwide. Key areas include sales, market share, distribution, promotions, pricing, merchandising, demand planning, financial management, and profitability.

Proactively and continuously communicate business progress, opportunities, expectations, and needs to ensure the achievement of business plans.

Effectively communicate channel goals and strategic insights across cross-functional teams, becoming the recognized “channel expert.”

Review and evaluate weekly reporting tools, including business planning, communication, and execution frameworks, to enhance internal consistency and efficiency, providing visibility and intelligence to leadership.

Collaborate with Administrative Support, Finance Planning & Analysis (FPA), Logistics, Marketing, and other departments to develop targeted strategic channel plans, create effective brand promotion programs, and strengthen brand activation based on consumer and brand insights.

Provide feedback and guidance to each member of the grocery team, leading and supporting the team to ensure the company meets and exceeds sales targets.

Job Description
Basic Requirements

Education / Experience

At least 3 years of sales experience.

Proficient in PC applications including Word, Excel, Email, and PowerPoint.

Excellent communication skills including listening, presentations, and both written and verbal expression.

Skilled in insights-driven consultative selling and negotiation.
